One of university’s priorities is to involve students and employees in sports life and provide comfortable conditions for sports and physical culture.

Particular attention is devoted to the development of student sports. At present Department “Physical Culture” and the Student Sports Club provide the training process of university teams in 33 sports, and the number of supported sports has been increasing. The university teams that show the best results are sent to international competitions, where they successfully confirm their high class.

The women’s university mini-football team  is the winner of the European Student Games – 2017.

University Championships in various sports are held for the students, professors and employees of Moscow Poly. Besides, professors and employees have the opportunity to train in sports facilities of the university during extra-curriculum time.

In addition, a Sports Festival in all the sports for everyone is held annually together with the University Staff and Students Union.

At the suburban educational, cultural and sports center “Polet” (Komiagino village) there is an opportunity to play paintball, attend a tourist rally, and, in winter, to ski in the picturesque places of the Moscow region. Competitions in mini-football and futsal of the highest level are arranged at the universal sports hall.

Everyone can attend the yacht steering course at the Yacht club of Moscow Poly. The Yacht club is located on the Ivankovskoye reservoir, also known as “The Moscow Sea”. The fleet of the Yacht club amounts to over 35 sailing and motor vessels. Annually up to 30 students get an opportunity to master sailing and receive an appropriate certificate.

Every student of our university will find an opportunity to practice his favourite sport, and he will enjoy support in achieving high results!
